This Sales Director will be the point person for the organisation's relationships with the insurance companies in Hong Kong, selling them the portfolio of platform/solutions products and services.

Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting the insurance sector to achieve revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, specifically with CTO, CIO and key decision makers
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the insurance industry.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, and delivery, to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of the company's solutions.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company's visibility and market presence.


Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in solutions sales, with a focus on the insurance sector.
  • Existing relationships with CTO, CIO and key decision makers at insurance companies in Hong Kong is mandatory for this position
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth in a competitive environment.
  • In-depth understanding of insurance operations, trends, and challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Strong analytically and problem-solving abilities to develop strategic solutions for clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytic tools.
