Client Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager to join a leading retail company with a headcount of 2000 staff in Hong Kong. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in HR management and business partnering within large organizations. The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of HR experience, including 5 years in a managerial role, and experience working in the retail industry.

Description

  • Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives. Partner with senior leadership to identify HR needs, develop workforce plans, and provide innovative HR solutions that support the company's long-term goals.
  • Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. Develop and implement talent management programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Organizational Development: Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance company culture, employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. Design and implement change management strategies to support business transformation.
  • Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems to evaluate and enhance employee performance. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to ensure continuous development and improvement.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts. Promote employee engagement and satisfaction through various initiatives and programs.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards. Conduct regular reviews and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Training & Development: Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs and opportunities for continuous learning.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • HRIS Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the HR Information System (HRIS). Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and data.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present HR reports to senior management. Use data and analytics to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
  • HR Projects: Lead and manage key HR projects, such as succession planning, talent reviews, and workforce optimization, to support strategic business objectives.

 

Profile

  • Minimum of 9 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR planning and implementation within the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
