Description

As a 'Private Equity Associate,' your main responsibilities will include:

  • Screening and evaluation of private equity investment opportunities and co-investment opportunity, including industry and company investment research, financial modeling and preparation of investment proposals for the Investment Management Committee
  • Coordination of due diligence, documentation and closing processes;
  • Support and, over time, lead deal term negotiations;
  • Support post-investment management, including GP communication and preparing quarterly and ad hoc post-investment reports;
  • Assist in preparing meeting materials (both Chinese and English) and perform departmental administrative work.


Profile

A successful 'Private Equity Associate' should have:

  • Bachelor degree or above in related discipline from top-tier university;
  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience in financial industry;
  • Knowledge of private equity investment, possess investment analysis capabilities, theoretical knowledge and practical experience in data analysis;
  • Familiar with the application of various office software and data analysis tools (Bloomberg, CapIQ);
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, with good presentation skills and valuation modeling skills;
  • Candidate studies overseas and work experience are preferred;
  • CFA/CPA/FRM certificates holders are preferred.
