Description
As a 'Private Equity Associate,' your main responsibilities will include:
- Screening and evaluation of private equity investment opportunities and co-investment opportunity, including industry and company investment research, financial modeling and preparation of investment proposals for the Investment Management Committee
- Coordination of due diligence, documentation and closing processes;
- Support and, over time, lead deal term negotiations;
- Support post-investment management, including GP communication and preparing quarterly and ad hoc post-investment reports;
- Assist in preparing meeting materials (both Chinese and English) and perform departmental administrative work.
Profile
A successful 'Private Equity Associate' should have:
- Bachelor degree or above in related discipline from top-tier university;
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience in financial industry;
- Knowledge of private equity investment, possess investment analysis capabilities, theoretical knowledge and practical experience in data analysis;
- Familiar with the application of various office software and data analysis tools (Bloomberg, CapIQ);
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, with good presentation skills and valuation modeling skills;
- Candidate studies overseas and work experience are preferred;
- CFA/CPA/FRM certificates holders are preferred.
