Regional L&D Manager - Well-known Retailer

Working with a close client within the Retail industry, we are looking for an L&D professional to join the Regional Team!
Reporting to the Head of HR, APAC, you will be leading a team member and play a pivotal role in developing the future leaders of the organization across the APAC region, while manage the L&D program delivery for the local market for retail operation. Description
- Act as the key POC for L&D and talent development initiatives for Asia
- Drive the design and implementation of tailored learning solutions to meet the organization's specific business needs, with a strong focus on retail learning & development program within Hong Kong
- Monitor and review talent management program, including performance management, succession planning, talent review and assessment
- Provide guidelines on training and talent development initiatives, managing training vendors and other academy related matters to ensuring the delivery of effective and impactful programs.
- Lead the employee engagement survey, working with external services providers on the entire process, results analysis, action plans and follow-ups
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing programs, ensuring that the talent development initiatives remain cutting-edge and impactful
- Oversee end-to-end implementation of high-quality learning programs, measuring their impact and effectiveness. Collaborate with vendors, monitor industry trends, and evaluate programs to drive continuous improvement and enhance learning outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their active involvement in leadership development initiatives.
- Deploy people strategy, collaborating with HR BPs and functional leaders to design customized learning solutions for organizational transformation and capability building.
Profile
- Degree qualification or above in related discipline with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in learning and developing within International Retailer
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of leadership development models, metrics, and trends, with the ability to apply suitable strategies that align with business needs, and continuously improve existing programs.
- Proficiency in designing and facilitating effective leadership development strategies.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and energetic, thriving in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Language proficiency in English and Chinese is a must.
