Our client is a conglomerate group that has established a strong presence over the past decade that drives in HK & Overseas development whilst managing a diverse investment portfolio and prioritizing ESG across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support for business operations in Hong Kong, focusing on technology development, investments, and collaborations to meet corporate goals and comply with laws.
• Evaluate potential partners and investment opportunities, analyze legal and business aspects, and manage risks related to technology, investments, and partnerships
• Negotiate and review various commercial contracts, such as joint venture agreements and licensing agreements.
• Offer guidance on intellectual property matters to protect the Corporation's rights.
• Develop internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with corporate objectives.

Requirements:

• HK Qualified with 3-8+ PQE with private practice or in-house legal experience, preferably in technology or intellectual property legal sector.
• Strong knowledge of patent protection, trademarks, copyrights and commercial transactions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholder management sensitivity.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in written and spoken Chinese is preferred.
