Job Purpose:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Property for a leading international organization. This role is pivotal in managing a diverse property portfolio, including a flagship corporate headquarters. The successful candidate will oversee property leasing, project management, and facilities management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable property solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
This is a replacement role for a long-standing team member who is retiring, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the organization's property operations.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive property strategy to support global operations.
- Lead and inspire a team of 14 professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all property-related matters.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the management of a global property portfolio
- Ensure optimal utilization of property assets, balancing operational needs with cost efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for portfolio optimization.
Leasing & Transactions:
- Lead leasing negotiations for office spaces, lounges, and other property assets.
- Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements and regulatory requirements.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of property-related projects, including renovations, relocations, and new builds.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive project success.
Facilities Management:
- Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all properties.
- Implement best practices in facilities management to enhance safety, sustainability, and user experience.
- Manage service providers and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Sustainability & Innovation:
- Drive initiatives to enhance the sustainability of the property portfolio.
- Explore innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Qualifications & Experience:- A degree in Architecture, Property Management, or a related field. Professional qualifications in property or facilities management are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in property management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale property portfolios, including leasing, project management, and facilities management.
- Strong understanding of global property markets, particularly in the aviation or hospitality sectors.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
