Requirements: Qualities of the Ideal Candidate

• Exceptionally strong communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A minimum of a Diploma qualification, with higher educational achievements being an added advantage.
• Preferred candidates will possess comprehensive sourcing experience specifically in the food domain.
• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in merchandising, procurement, or supply chain, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven sourcing experience in China, India, South & East Asia, understanding the nuances of these regions.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-cultural work environment and comfortably navigate multicultural settings.
• Language proficiency: Fluent English is a must. Knowledge of German is beneficial for interacting with certain international partners, while Chinese competency is advantageous for managing sourcing in Chinese-speaking regions.
• Proven track record in project management, handling complex projects from initiation to completion.
• High enthusiasm and willingness to travel frequently to suppliers' locations, factories, and even international destinations like Switzerland.
• Self-motivated and highly independent, with a track record of delivering work punctually and meeting tight deadlines.
• Robust planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
