Financial Controller

About the Client

Our client is a listed company designing, producing, and distributing premium products for some renowned clients. Currently, they are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller with group/regional finance experience to join their Hong Kong office.

About the Role

You will oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements (IFRS/HKFRS). You will manage interim/annual reports, board disclosures, and regulatory announcements, liaising with auditors, legal advisors, and regulators. You will involve in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities to drive business growth. You will strengthen internal controls, SOX compliance, and risk management frameworks to mitigate financial/operational risks. You will involve in tax planning, transfer pricing, and audit coordination across multiple jurisdictions. Also, you will optimize capital structure and treasury operations. You will mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent.
• 15 years progressive experience in finance/accounting, including managerial experience from Big 4 and sizable listed companies.
• Diligent, versatile, analytical and able to work under pressure.
• Leadership skills to manage teams, engage stakeholders, and communicate with executives/boards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Occasional traveling will be required.
