Responsibilities:  

• support the maintenance of library websites, in-house applications, library wide projects and new initiatives;
• assist in the administration, maintenance and enhancement of the integrated library system, discovery services, and RFID;
• provide support to the computer hardware & software;
• set up corresponding IT/AV equipment in the library events;
• assist in the administration and preparation of inventory, incident reports and statistical reports; and
• provide general enquiry assistance at service counters.

Applicants should: 

• possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Library and Information Management or a related field; or possess a recognised diploma or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the aforementioned fields;
• have knowledge of web content management, web design and editing, such as HTML, XML, and WordPress etc.;
• have basic knowledge of IT skills, preferably have knowledge in Linux and Windows; and
• have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. 

Fresh graduates will also be considered. The appointee will be required to work shifts in evenings, and on weekends. Applicants with work experience in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
