Responsibilities:
- Manage site progress, carry out site inspection and testing of all civil and structural works including precast elements.
- Liaise with Client / Consultants and sub-contractors and internal parties for technical matters to ensure the site works are performed in smooth and safe manners.
- Monitor and check all builders and structural installation works
- Monitor site progress and prepare site progress reports.
- Attend regular site meetings, identify potential engineering problems with recommended solution.
- Prepare works record, technical submission and application for permits
- Assist in development and implementation of quality plans in related to structural matters.
- Prepare temporary works design, method statement, and advise in structural matters.
- Prepare master programme, reports, and sketches on technical matters.
- Assist in contractual claims in technical matters.
- Assist in implementation of Site Safety Supervision Plan.
- To perform the role of Technically Competent Person (TCP) as specified in Site Safety Supervision Plan as assigned by the Project Manager / Project Director.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent disciplines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin;
- Applicants with more experience will be considered as Assistant Project Manager (Engineering).
- Applicants with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer (C&S).
- 5 years relevant experience in major Civil or Building projects or
- Minimum 2 years site experience preferably from main contractors;
