About the role
Reporting to the department head, you will lead the development and governance of a centralized sustainability data platform, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data collection, analysis, and visualization across the organization. Working with cross departments, you will track KPIs, evaluate program effectiveness, and generate insights, including trends, anomalies, and forecasts to drive strategic decisions. Uphold data quality, ownership, and compliance throughout its lifecycle while collaborating with experts to validate metrics aligned with industry standards. You will also identify innovations to enhance sustainability data processes and support long-term strategic goals while partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate verified sustainability insights, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
The Successful Candidate
- Education in Math, Statistics, Hard Science, Computer Science, Engineering or other closely related disciplines preferred
- Master degree will be an advantage but not a must
- A minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience in data management, data analysis, or advanced automation projects within a sizeable organization
- Very strong technical skills in the areas of data architecture, data solutions design and extensive experience with leading enterprise data warehouse technologies
- Demonstrated history of implementing data management systems and providing data-driven solutions in a large organization
- A hands-on individual who has excelled at working with stakeholder and who possess strong organization skills, attention to detail, tenacity for success, and excellent communication skills
- Strong experience in predictive analytics, data warehouse, data optimization, cloud technology and data analytic tools such as Python/R, Tableau, Power Bl/Query, Alteryx
- Good command in Chinese and English
