Assistant Manager, Securities Settlement (Bank)(1-year Contract)

About the company

Our client is a well-established retail banking group in Hong Kong. With their continuous expansion in business, they are now looking for high calibre to join their Securities Settlement and Operations team.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Head of Securities Settlement and Operations, you will manage settlement and operations of various investment products, including equity (US stocks, HK stocks and China), mutual funds, derivatives, fixed income and futures. You have to conduct settlement functions and perform booking record in system properly (CCASS). You are required to support the daily operations on trade matching, corporate actions, IPO and placements, client funds transfers and data management. You need to establish operation flow framework and monitor controls by verifying transactions. In addition, you will participate in UAT, system projects and process streamline to achieve business objectives.

The successful applicant

To qualify, the successful individual must possess:

• University Graduate in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3-4 years settlement and operations experience in equities, fixed income, mutual funds and derivatives in banking industry.
• Excellent knowledge in managing CCASS system, operation flow and related regulatory guidelines.
• Good understanding of related settlement rules and regulations of SFC & HKEX.
• Sound analytical mind, communication skills and multitasking.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer position.
