Our client is a well-known bank and they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager of Data Science & AI to join their team.

• Lead the deployment of AI initiatives and strategies for customer data analysis and actionable insight generation in the personal banking market.
• Drive the development and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms to enhance customer experience and inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of AI solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Evaluate and select AI vendors to implement cutting-edge technologies that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain risk and control governance framework for AI deployment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Fine-tune LLM models to optimize performance and accuracy.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful AI/GenAI deployment and actionable insight generation in the banking or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Java, and other programming languages commonly used in AI (GenAI, Reinforcement Learning and machine learning).
• Strong understanding of risk and control governance and compliance requirements.
• Familiar with RAG, LLM fine-tuning, embedding techniques or other search engine related system is a plus.
• Experience in evaluating and managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Good command in both spoken and written in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
