Job Posting Details
The appointee will provide support to the MSc in Accounting (MSAC) Program. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
(a) support all aspects of program administration and operations of the MSAC Program, including classroom arrangement, course materials preparation, on-site class support to teaching faculty, and administrative support to program manager, in order to ensure smooth program operations;
(b) provide general support and advising service to MSAC students in different areas, such as study plan, internship application and enrichment activities;
(c) assist in the whole admission process of MSAC Program, including preparation of marketing collaterals, co-ordination of admission events and promotional campaigns, advising prospective candidates, and managing related activities during the student recruitment and admissions process;
(d) liaise with internal academic and administrative units, students and alumni as well as external institutes/organizations on student academic administration and development;
(e) coordinate student and professional enrichment activities, such as fellowship events, seminars, talks, career development workshops and alumni gatherings, etc.;
(f) maintain alumni network and coordinate alumni affairs and events;
(g) support the marketing/enrichment events such as organizing outreach activities and preparing promotional materials(for example, PowerPoint presentation, website, brochures and social media); and
(h) assist in compilation of reports and consolidation of data, handle correspondence and enquiries, provide secretarial support, support daily office administration work, and perform other duties as required.
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognized bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of full-time work experience, preferably in program administration in the education sector;
(b) have good knowledge in IT and software applications (including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation tools and data management);
(c) be self-motivated and attentive to details, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to multi-task and produce quality work under pressure and tight timelines;
(d) have a pleasant personality, good interpersonal, communication and co-ordination skills, and a problem-solving mindset;
(e) be able to work independently but also be a good team player with solution-driven mindset; and
(f) have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Working outside normal office hours may be required occasionally. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
