The Center for Language Education (CLE) is committed to becoming an international leader in language education through innovative program design, application of technology, and scholarship of teaching and learning. We teach required courses in English and Chinese for over 6,000 UG and PG students each semester, as well as elective courses in ‘3rd’ languages.
The Center is looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager (Programming and Administration). Reporting to the Center Manager, the appointee will ensure an efficient administration of the Center including program and course management.
Major duties of the appointee include:
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or above with at least 3 to 4 years of relevant post-qualification work experience. Candidates with a good track record in handling student advising and supporting education programs are preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is a must. The appointee should be reliable, well-organized, meticulous, able to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines, observant in managing stakeholders, and able to work independently in a dynamic working environment. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and IT skills are required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
