Responsibilities:
Design and implement freight acquisition strategies for Hong Kong-Southeast Asia export routes, prioritizing market growth in Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. Ensure alignment with organizational goals to foster business expansion.
Establish and nurture enduring relationships with clients, shipping carriers, and industry partners.
Partner with leadership in tender processes, including crafting competitive bids and customized logistics proposals.
Analyze market dynamics and customer needs to develop actionable strategies for market penetration and promotional initiatives.
Deliver on individual and team sales objectives in line with company targets and strategic plans.
Manage end-to-end sales operations, encompassing contract discussions, shipment monitoring, and efficient payment reconciliation.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of sales expertise in Hong Kong and Southern China (Shenzhen, Nansha, Pearl River Delta) focused on Southeast Asia container exports. Preference for candidates with prior roles at leading carriers (e.g., WANHAI, EVERGREEN, KMTC, TSLINE) or their agents.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Strong command of written and spoken English; fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.
Demonstrated success in market expansion and client acquisition. Existing networks with regional clients and carriers are a strong advantage.
Customer-focused approach with the agility to adapt to shifting market trends and demands.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and collaborative abilities, coupled with resilience in high-pressure environments.
Flexibility to undertake regular travel as dictated by business priorities.
