- We are looking for PURCHASING MANAGER - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Develop Purchasing Strategies: Create and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Supplier Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing excess stock.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the purchasing teams in both Hong Kong office and Shenzhen factory, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of suppliers and the purchasing team, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply of materials.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Education: Tertiary education preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement in the manufacturing industry; of which 2+ years in toys
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to perform cost analysis and market research.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential.
