Professor (Full-time) - Department of Economics and Finance
(Ref: Prof (EAF) 2025-04-11)  

Responsibilities:  

• plan, develop, coordinate and deliver specialist modules in various finance, economics, investment, international finance, financial institutions/market, FinTech and ESG areas;
• lead in programme development, management and validation;
• lead in strategic research areas and external grants seeking;
• extend partnerships network with industry and academic organizations; and
• provide university academic and administration services.
   

Applicants should 

• possess a PhD degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or related disciplines;
• have solid teaching and research experience in related areas;
• have a successful track record of academic experience in tertiary teaching (bachelor and master levels), preferably with international exposures;
• have strong research records and publications;
• have a distinguished international academic standing in the discipline and relevant academic leadership experience; and
• have impactful contributions to the profession and the community.
   

The appointee is expected to assume duty in August 2025. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
