INSTITUTIONAL PLANNING AND ANALYTICS OFFICE

Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) assist in coordinating and preparing the data submission for major ranking exercises and other institutional rankings;
(b) perform in-depth analyses on major rankings exercises and provide insights to the senior management;
(c) assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the University’s integrated research information system in the areas of research output content management and open access initiatives;
(d) conduct workshops and training sessions as well as prepare user guides and web pages for different analytics tools;
(e) liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and support office activities and functions; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree;
(b) at least five years of solid and relevant post-qualification experience at supervisory level;
(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(d) knowledge of research data management and research databases, such as Scopus, WoS etc.; and
(e) excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
