Applications are invited for Lecturer I/II for the 2023/2024 academic year. The appointee will serve as a relief teacher for Theme-based Research Scheme to teach courses in the area of life science, preferably in Genetics, Developmental Biology, and Immunology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Participation in other academic activities, including grant application, writing grant reports and administrative duties, is also required.
Applicants should have a PhD degree and postdoc training in biological or biomedical sciences. Candidates with excellent skills in teaching and writing are encouraged to apply. The appointee should have proven ability to teach effectively in English. Teaching experience at university level is a plus. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. Housing benefits will also be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
