The Center for Education Innovation is hiring an Education Development Officer to support the grant-funded teaching development projects and to conduct university teaching skills training to graduate teaching assistants. 

Job Duties:

• Support grant-funded teaching development projects;
• Conduct university teaching skills training for graduate teaching assistants;
• Coordinate tasks related to teaching development projects;
• Track the progress of funded projects;
• Collaborate with project teams;
• Provide instructional advice to project leaders;
• Support project evaluation activities; and
• Perform teaching duties in the graduate teaching assistant training program.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field;
• At least 3 years of post-degree teaching or instructional experience, preferably in higher education;
• Knowledge of active learning pedagogies;
• Experience implementing experiential learning in courses or programs;
• Understanding of assessment techniques in higher education;
• High level of proficiency in spoken and written English;
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; and
• Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test in English. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
