The appointee will provide administrative support to the Digital DEPTH Hong Kong Office for International Cooperation and coordinate with office in various work areas, including but not limited to the following:
a. Provide daily operational support to the office;
b. Cultivate relationships with Mainland and international institutions to foster partnerships and amplify the office's brand;
c. Coordinate international cruises, meetings, events, such as collected samples and data, exhibitions, science lectures, field visits, and annual meetings;
d. prepare publicity materials, including platforms, guidelines, booklets, and website content in both Chinese and English;
e. provide secretarial services to committees and working groups; and
f. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director or the Director’s delegates.
Occasionally, working outside normal office hours to support events may be necessary.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of work experience in project management. The ideal candidate should have a proactive work attitude and the capability of multi-tasking; be a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills; and be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable, subject to funding availability)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
