Description
- Implement and document processes for our wood and paper sustainability policy within operations and sourcing.
- Develop and deliver training for internal teams and external vendors to uphold policy and Chain of Custody programme.
- Design and manage due diligence processes, including data testing and sample checks, to ensure compliance.
- Produce monthly performance reports and track sustainability KPIs to drive insights and accountability.
- Partner with quality assurance and sourcing teams, offering expertise to align with sustainability goals.
- Resolve queries efficiently, escalating issues when needed, and manage the wood and paper budget.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating best practices and new technologies into operations.
- Represent the team in internal working groups and external forums focused on sustainable forestry.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sustainability, compliance, or sourcing roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce reports and interpret data.
- Excellent communication and training delivery skills for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of Chain of Custody programmes or sustainability certifications (e.g., FSC) is an advantage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage budgets effectively.
- Passion for environmental responsibility and staying updated on industry innovations.
