Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate supervisory policies and guidance on technology risk issues affecting the banking sector, especially in relation to fintech and emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology
• Keep abreast of industry developments and overseas regulatory practices in relation to technology risk including fintech and emerging technologies
• Support the development and implementation of the next generation supervisory systems.
• Collaborate with other relevant departments within the HKMA and external parties such as other supervisors, technologists, and academia to identify suitable technology solutions
• Host or participate in meetings with the senior management of AIs and other relevant parties on related matters
• Provide support for the HKMA’s participation in international collaborative efforts on technology related matters

Requirements:

• University degree in banking, finance, technology or related fields
• At least five years’ relevant experience.  Knowledge of banking operations a definite advantage
• Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Good command of English and Chinese
