Our client is a fintech platform dedicated to transforming financial services through innovative technology. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join their dynamic team with commercial legal operations.

Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and customer agreements. Ensure all contracts align with the company's legal and business interests.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in the fintech industry. Advise senior management on potential legal risks and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
• Oversee corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Work closely with external legal counsel as needed.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company's operations. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal support for product development, marketing, and other business initiatives.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on business initiatives, corporate strategies, and other legal matters.

Profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3 PQE, inhouse experience is a must.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in the fintech industry.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with cross-border transactions and international legal issues.
