A small-scale financial services company is looking to strengthen its operations by establishing a formal HR framework, policies, organisational structure, and a proper performance management system.
Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee the entire HR operations, including payroll, on-boarding and off boarding, recruitment, and supporting business leaders with budget management and manpower planning. You will review and refine existing HR handbooks, policies, and processes as needed, while collaborating with senior stakeholders on performance management, employee engagement, retention strategies, and staff issues. Additionally, you will serve as the HR advisor, playing a pivotal role as a strategist, communicator, and business partner to plan and execute organisational and development initiatives that facilitate the company's growth.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a degree holder and possess 15-18 of HR management experience from renowned financial services organisations such as banks, asset management/ securities firms, fintech, or crypto organizations. You will have a comprehensive understanding and readiness to oversee HR operations while providing timely and valuable business partnering support to key stakeholders across the group. Given that this is an individual contributor position, an energetic, flexible, and hands-on approach will be essential. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required to drive stronger engagement and internal communications within the company. Candidates with experience in setup, business expansion or organisational design will be highly sought after. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
