About the Role
Reporting to the department head, you will be designing and implementing IT strategies, governance frameworks, and resource plans are essential for achieving reliable outcomes that meet business needs and budget constraints. Establishing IT governance policies ensures compliance with industry standards and supports organizational goals. In addition to strategic planning, managing daily operations is crucial for maintaining infrastructure, including system patching, disaster recovery, and technology upgrades. Collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders is key for timely and budget-friendly project execution. Effective oversight of risk assessments and security evaluations protects IT infrastructure and ensures compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and ITIL. Lastly, leading incident resolution and managing supplier relationships maintain quality.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Computer Science or equivalent field;
- At least 10+ years of experience in the following fields: network services, infrastructure operations, information technology, project and business process management
- Demonstrated success in partnering with IT management and experience working in a variety of enterprise ITSM tools will be an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and summarize status to senior executive level
- Creative and strategic thinking - and the agility necessary to master both the daily hands-on analysis and the big picture strategy
- Demonstrable experience successfully challenging vendors on solution designs resulting in an improved product.
- Expertise in vendor contract compliance and vendor governance
- Understanding of technology currently installed across the enterprise
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good command in English and Chinese
