The new teammate will join as Business Development Executive or Senior Business Development Executive, supporting the Greater China Business Development initiatives with a focus in the firm's Mainland China business.

Description
As Business Development Executive, you will support business development strategy, particularly regarding initiatives in Greater China. Job scope will include producing and delivering high-quality, compelling responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), pitches, credentials, brochures, and other client-facing materials. To maintain quality and efficiency, you will track and update team resources such as pitch logs, templates, and deal lists. On Marketing Communications front, you will draft contents for the firm's website, social media, and publications.
In collaboration with your teammates and manager, you will support in organizing events, preparing necessary materials, and managing logistical arrangements for meetings and training sessions in Greater China offices including Hong Kong and Beijing.
Additionally, you will assist in drafting directory submissions, conducting research and analysis, and liaising with lawyers and researchers throughout the process.
You report to the Senior Business Development Manager in Hong Kong and collaborate with Partners in both Beijing and Hong Kong. Furthermore, you assist with various ad hoc duties as required by the Firm.
Profile
The firm requires at least 3 years of business development experience in law firms, specifically supporting corporate or capital markets practices. Preference will be given to candidates with Business Development and Marketing experience for the China market.
The minimum education requirement is university degree. The role requires native-level proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin is a must), as well as fluent English. It also requires proficiency in Simplified Chinese typing/input.
Candidates with strong experience and track record in preparing and coordinating Chinese and English RFPs, pitches, and credential requests will find themselves in a strong advantage.
Candidates will be assessed in their writing, research, and analytical skills.
