Roles & responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating and implementing staff training workshops, explore new training practices and develop training e-platform as well as mobile apps to cope with the market trend;

• collaborate with the team in managing the annual training events, dealing with different stakeholders and formulate structural training modules for maintaining the momentum of staff training and development;

• assist in planning, designing and executing the Exchange Programme with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, including developing rundowns/agendas, coordinating with service providers, monitoring budgets and administration procedures as well as event progress;

• plan, design and implement staff welfare activities/events, such as awards ceremonies as well as social and recreational activities;

• assist in formulating the annual training plan and preparing regular/annual exercises (i.e. annual report/plan/budget); and

• conduct review to smoothen the operation procedure and provide recommendations to optimize the efficiency of staff training of the group.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• A recognized degree or equivalent;

• Grade D or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;

• proficiency in English and Chinese including Putonghua;

• preferably with relevant experience in M.I.C.E and/or event management;

• good communication and interpersonal skills; and 

• able to prioritize work, perform multiple tasks, work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
