Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for reprovisioning of schools including preparing documents for consultation in District Council, managing building projects of new school premises, monitoring the financial management, compilation of papers for Board allocation and documents for school registration;
  • analyse data and evaluate the situation of schools as well as identify challenges for sustaining the development of schools;
  • deliver executive support including provision of advice to schools to ensure the school administration in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Education Bureau and the prevailing policies in Tung Wah;
  • coordinate administration matters such as establishment of the School Incorporated Management Committee (IMC), School Management Committee (SMC), staff recruitment and curriculum design, etc;
  • liaise and network with internal and external parties for facilitating reprovisioning project; and
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).


The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent;
  • at least Grade D or above in both English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • at least 4 years of post-qualification executive experience, preferably 2 years in the field of education;
  • experience in school, government, public sector organization or NGO would be an advantage;
  • excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • pleasant, out-going personality, be sociable and helpful as well as sensitive to others’ needs; and
  • proficiency in English and Chinese.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
