The Department of Mathematics invites applications for the post of full-time Teaching Assistant. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree and preferably some relevant teaching experience; (ii) an academic background in mathematics; (iii) solid knowledge of computer applications and project management; and (iv) good communication skills.

Duties include (a) handling coordination work, including teaching support and programme administration; (b) assisting in tutorials, laboratory/practical classes, preparation of course materials/ classes, student consultation/supervision, and other academic activities; and (c) assisting in report drafting and writing.

Appointments will initially be made on contract basis up to two years commencing August 2023, renewable subject to funding, performance and mutual agreement.
