• We are seeking SENIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER  - with details as follows :
  

POSITION OVERVIEW : 

• Report to Executive VP in US
  
• Work independently to oversee and manage all sourcing activities in China & Asia
• Manage & work with Asian offices including Shanghai, Dongguan, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam ... etc
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  
• Budget Management: Manage production budgets, negotiating costs with suppliers and ensuring cost-effective production
• Supplier Management: Manage and evaluate supplier performance, ensure consistent communication, and negotiate contracts.
• Sourcing New Suppliers: Identify, source, and evaluate new suppliers in Asia to expand the supplier base and diversify sourcing options.
• Collaborate with other departments to align production schedules with sales forecasts and inventory needs.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Textiles/Clothing/Production...or related
• 10+ years of experience in garment sourcing, supply chain management or production management
  
• Experience in US buying offices.
• Experience in handling major US retailer clients similar to Walmart, Target....etc. is preferable
  
• Experience in swimwear or sportswear is a plus
  
• Proven track record of managing production and sourcing activities in China & SE Asia.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• Ability to travel frequently within China & Asia
  
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in garment production and sourcing.
• Work based in Hong Kong with business trips to China & SE Asia
