The Compensation & Benefits Senior Specialist / Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of C&B operations, including payroll processing, taxation, medical renewals, HRIS system maintenance, and annual salary reviews.

As a rapidly expanding business, they are seeking a skilled Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Senior Specialist or Assistant Manager to join our HR team, focusing on C&B operations, payroll management, and analytics to support their corporate functions.

Description

  • Manage the full cycle of payroll processing for corporate function roles, including salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with finance department to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits, including medical insurance renewals, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring seamless delivery and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.
  • Coordinate the annual salary review process, including data collection, market benchmarking, and preparation of salary adjustment proposals.
  • Conduct compensation analytics to provide insights on salary trends, cost impacts, and budget alignment, presenting findings to HR leadership.


Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a focus on payroll management, taxation, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of C&B operations, including payroll processing, taxation, and benefits administration, preferably in a corporate setting with exposure to multiple regions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar).
  • Familiarity with local labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Hong Kong; knowledge of other regional regulations is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for salary reviews and budgeting in a multi-regional context.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and HR leadership, across different regions.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
