Job Responsibilities:
- Handle public enquiries and complaints;
- Prepare press materials, and monthly newsletters for the works project;
- Prepare presentation materials and attend public consultation forums;
- Prepare papers and presentation materials for District Council meetings;
- Liaise with the general public;
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, project brochures, fact sheets, newsletter, etc to the satisfaction of the Project Manager and Supervisor;
- Prepare, arrange and obtain Project Manager and Supervisor acceptance on the relevant information to be uploaded to the project website in monthly basis;
- Upload relevant information to the project website;
- Construction video film;
- Assist the Project Manager and Supervisor in liaison with members of District Councils;
- Attend meetings of District Councils;
- Attend Community Liaison Group(s) meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in communication, public relations or related disciplines;
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in public affairs, community relations, complaint handling, corporate communications and crisis management;
- Experience in community relations and dealing with District Council;
- Well versed in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing;
- Proficient in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese;
- Proficient in written English and Chinese;
- Good inter-personal skills;
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Community Liaison Officer.
