THE COMPANY :
- European company
- Supplier : steel & metal system for use in gas and chemical industries, power generation plants, oil refineries plants...etc
- HK office : small trading office, regional office of APAC
- We are looking for SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to Finance Director of HK office
- Lead two accounting subordinates for full spectrum of accounting issues of Hong Kong office; as well as oversee and monitor accounts of Singapore office
- Verify daily operation transactions done by subordinates in the accounting system
- Monitor month end closing to ensure correctness
- Prepare monthly management report and accounting schedules to European Headquarters
- Quarterly Inter-companies Matching Reports & Bi-annually Group Reporting package to HQ
- Monitor cash flow and prepare fund flow statement
- Yearly budgeting to European Headquarters
- Communicate with bankers : confirm the daily drawdown on facilities i.e. Import & Export Loan; Factoring; Revolving Loan etc.
- Provide draft of year-end management report and relevant accounting schedules
- Provide information to tax service consultant in order to complete tax return to IRD
- Human resources & office administration support of HK office
- Degree holder in accounting and finance
- Good communication in English, Cantonese & Mandarin
- 10+ years accounting experience; of which preferably 2+ years in trading or manufacturing related
- Strong in Excel including Pivot Table / Vlookup / Sumif
- Work experience under ERP system is preferable
- 5 days work
