“What is the role of Internet memes in political discussion?”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC):
 
Research Assistant (Part-time) – Department of Social Science (Ref: PTRA (SSC) 2023-08-04)
 
Responsibilities:  

• The appointee will be responsible for literature review, data analysis, and other project-related tasks.

Applicants should:

• possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree, in communication or other social science discipline;
• have at least two years of experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research;
• have a good understanding of digital culture;
• have a good command of written English and Chinese; and
• have a passion for conducting academic research.
