The University now invites applications for the following position to work in the Research Project “Generalized Sethi Advertising Model and Extensions”, funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC): 

Research Assistant – Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Insurance
(Ref: RA (MSI-UGC/FDS14/P02/20) 2023-08-18)

The appointee will assist the project leader in conducting research work, including literature review, model building, programming, numerical analysis and other project-related tasks. 

Applicants should: 

• possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree, in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related discipline;
• preferably have programming experience in MATLAB or R; and
• be able to work independently.

The appointee is expected to assume duty as soon as possible. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
