Pay

HK$27,717 to HK$42,341 per month (including Monthly Allowance)

Job

1. Under close supervision, responsible for maintenance and modification of IT solutions in areas of responsibility.
2. Document system changes and enhancement.
3. Prepare and perform testing of IT solutions in areas of responsibility.
4. Provide user support on IT solutions in areas of responsibility.
5. Liaise with users, contractors and other IT teams for system maintenance.
6. Maintain system documentations and reports of IT solutions in areas of responsibility.
7. Provide after office hours system support.

Requirement

Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.

Preferred Attributes

1. Knowledge or experience in any one of the following areas:
   (a) Java development
   (b) Mobile application and/or web application development
   (c) Database Management System (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)
   (d) Server support and maintenance
2. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
4. Diligent, independent and able to work under pressure.

Remarks

1. Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of 2 - 3 years.  Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
2. Applicants who are expected to graduate from the Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline (or equivalent) on or before 31 August 2023 may also apply.  If selected, their appointment will be subject to their having satisfied all the appointment requirements. 
3. May be required to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.
4. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
