• We are currently seeking a talented PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER  to join our team.

THE JOB :

• Position Summary: The Product Development & Merchandising Manager will oversee the entire product development process from initial concept to final product delivery. You will be responsible for planning and executing a profitable and customer-focused merchandising strategy.
• Product Development: Oversee all phases of the product development cycle, from initial concept and design through technical design, sourcing, costing, and production.
• Trend Analysis: Analyze sales figures, market trends, and customer behavior to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges.
• Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors, buyers, and store managers to ensure product availability to customers.
• Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement merchandising plans to assist in the marketing and promotion of products.
• Customer Feedback: Gather information on customers' reactions to products and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Team Coordination: Oversee and coordinate product development & merchandising teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Education: Degree in Fashion Design, Business, Jewellery Design ... etc or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development and merchandising of fine jewellery
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the jewellery market, including trends, materials, and techniques.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Language Proficiency: Good command of English & Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
