THE COMPANY :
- Wholly owned subsidiary of a Japanese listed financial group
- An online brokerage firm offering online global securities & futures trading services to both individual and institutional clients in Asia Pacific
- We are licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) for Type 1 (dealing in securities), Type 2 (dealing in futures contracts) and Type 7 (providing automated trading services) regulated activity
- We are looking for JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Team work in IT team of 12 members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality and robust IT solutions across various departments
- Participate in and influence the full project lifecycle of our enterprise product suites
- Engage in process re-engineering, software enhancements, cybersecurity, and next-generation initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in Java and web development, adhering to best practice
- Highly self-motivated to learn complex technical skills and address intricate financial, security, and compliance issues
- Passionate about technology, technological solutions, and continuous improvement
- Technical Proficiencies:
- (1) Web frontend: Responsive design, Web API (e.g. RESTful), jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, Bootstrap and Vue.js/Node.js
- (2) Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Redis, MQ experience
- (3) RMDB: Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, MSSQL, PL/SQL
- (4) Tools: Eclipse IDE, Git/Gitlab, CVS, Apache Tomcat, Nginx
- (5) O/S: Linux + Shell script
- 5 days work (Mon to Fri 9am-6pm)
- Annual leave : 13 days
