IT Infrastructure Assistant Manager
Our client is seeking a skilled IT infrastructure professional to join their team. The role will be responsible for engaging users, technical teams, and service providers to lead infra related activities and ensure all systems operate efficiently and according to business requirements.

Description
- Ensure all systems are operating in a stable and efficiently to meet all Services Level Agreements.
- Lead and drive technical projects to achieve business objectives.
- Take the lead in project activities like requirement gathering, progress monitoring, testing, deployment, ongoing support and maintenance.
- Track, document, and ensure timely preparation of RFP and RFQ documents.
- Plan for transition from project to ongoing support (BAU) and engage managed service providers to assist with managing existing IT systems.
- Perform second-tier end-user support on network connectivity and server issues.
- Assume ownership of issues and follow up through problem escalation procedures.
Profile
- Diploma holder or above in an IT related discipline.
- PMP and ITIL certifications would be an advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience with Windows, Linux, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Virtualization, Azure, AWS, Container, OpenShift and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills. Capable of managing stakeholders and vendors.
- A team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Putonghua.
