Pay

HK$38,684 to HK$59,068 per month (including Monthly Allowance)

Job

1. Responsible for the following in the areas of development, implementation and support of Clinical Systems:
   (a) Conduct detailed system analysis and problem diagnosis; propose, develop and implement IT solutions.
   (b) Assist in provision of consultancy based on information technology and industry expertise and conduct feasibility study including recommendations for new IT solutions.
   (c) Design and complete system specifications for different components for application systems.
   (d) Prepare requirement specifications and cases of testing; maintain systems documentations / reports and monitor service provision of IT solutions.
2. Supervise Programmers and resolve technical issues for the application development, testing, product delivery and application support.
3. Conduct quality assurance and accept work deliverables from Programmers.
4. Prepare user guide and conduct user training.
5. Provide competent level of user support.
6. Provide after office hours system support.

Requirements

1. Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.
2. 4 years’ post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.
   
   

Preferred Attributes

1. Solid experience in the development, testing, deployment and support of the following areas:
   (a) Large scale mission critical clinical system
   (b) Applications using JAVA, .NET and Web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, JSP, Servlet, EJB, Java EE, ReactJS, Adobe Flex/AIR)
   (c) Mobile applications on iOS and/or Android platform using native/React Native
   (d) Applications on private and/or public Cloud platform
   (e) Sybase, Oracle, MongoDB, NoSQL and/or MS SQL DB servers
   (f) Quality assurance and test automation
2. Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
3. Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

 
Remarks

1. Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of 2 years.  Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
2. May be required to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.
3. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
4. Relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience.
