The Art faculty at GSIS is well resourced, with 3 well equipped and dedicated studios and a full-time Art technician. The successful applicant will be required to teach throughout the age range and should have experience of preparing senior students for public examinations such as I/GCSE and/or the IB Diploma.
Candidates wishing to be considered for the leadership role of Head of Art should indicate as such on their application letter. The Head of Art co-ordinates the teaching of the subject throughout the secondary school area and takes a leading role in curriculum development. He/she works with the subject colleagues to ensure good professional practice and to maintain high standards of teaching and learning in the subject.
