Join our dynamic IT team as an Application Analyst and play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and integration of essential school applications. We're seeking a career-oriented individual to empower our departments through insightful Power BI dashboards, contribute to application integration projects, and support ongoing application development initiatives. Duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with departments to understand their data visualization needs
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency within dashboards
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities
• Assist in the integration of various school applications, ensuring seamless data flow
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
• Document integration processes and procedures
• Assist in the development and maintenance of in-house applications
• Participate in code reviews and testing
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation
• Provide first-line technical support for application-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
• Other tasks as assigned by IT, Data & Information Services Manager and Director of Technology

What we are looking for

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or similar subject
• Ability to analyse user requirements and convert that into a solution
• Knowledge or experience in Power BI, DAX, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, and proficiency in using SQL queries, SSIS, stored procedures, views and functions
• Advantage if you have experience in jQuery, AJAX, Visual Basic .Net, LINQ to SQL, JSON, HTTP API integration, online payment gateway integration
