The German Swiss International School (GSIS) is one of Hong Kong's leading international schools providing quality, holistic education to a multinational student body of approximately 1250 students and 240 faculty and staff. The school is organised into two Streams, German and English leading to qualifications in the German International Abitur and I/GCSE & IBDP respectively. HEAD OF MUSIC (ENGLISH INTERNATIONAL STREAM – PRIMARY SCHOOL)
The successful candidate will be teaching in the Primary School and will be an excellent music classroom practitioner who is dedicated to enabling each child to achieve the highest possible standards in creative music education. She/he will be expected to be up-to-date with current music teaching and learning practices including differentiated learning, assessment and reporting. She/he will be a dynamic, open-minded and enthusiastic music practitioner who is dedicated to creating learning experiences and performance opportunities designed to engage every student and instill a love of music throughout our school community. Teaching experience in an International context is desirable.
