Applicants should (i) have a good Bachelor's degree or equivalent; (ii) possess at least seven years' postgraduate work experience in fund-raising, alumni affairs, public relations, or administration at middle management or supervisory level; (iii) have experience in large-scale event management including fund-raising campaigns; (iv) possess excellent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) writing, editing, proofreading and spoken language skills; (v) have solid understanding of traditional, digital and social media communications, marketing concepts and principles; (vi) have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; (vii) be able to work under pressure and outside office hours occasionally; and (viii) be independent, outgoing and a self-starter. Knowledge of the higher education sector would be an advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) organising appropriate events to foster connections with donors; (b) developing and executing fund-raising and friend-raising campaigns; (c) managing marketing and communications projects and budget; (d) undertaking committee work; and (e) performing other administrative work.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
