Our client is a well-established organization in Hong Kong with a significant presence in its industry. As they undertake a digital transformation of their department, they are now looking to recruit a Data Solution Architect
About the Role
Reporting to the department head, you will design and implement robust data frameworks to collect, automate, manage, and analyze the company's data across the organization. You will collaborate with sustainability teams, IT, and business leaders to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and alignment with industry standard. This role requires technical mastery of data pipelines, automation tools, and analytics platforms, coupled with a deep understanding of data metrics and reporting requirements. You will develop and maintain a unified data architecture blueprint for department's data, ensuring scalability and compliance with evolving regulatory and industry standards. You will also design automated workflows to collect data from diverse sources (e.g., IoT sensors, third-party providers, internal systems) as well as implementing ETL processes to streamline data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation.
The Successful Applicants
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 12+ years of experience required
- Proven ability to anticipate customer needs and future, emerging trends and to articulate a vision and strategy that motivate others to action
- Proven ability to interpret and apply pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements
- Very strong technical skills in the areas of data architecture, data solutions design and extensive experience with leading enterprise data warehouse technologies
- Proven track record in establishing strong customer relationships and delivering customer-focused solutions within a large IT enterprise
- Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members; demonstrated experience in leading a multifunctional team
- Good command in English and Chinese
