- International trading company for a wide variety of products including both consumer and industrial products
- We are a Hong Kong trading subsidiary of a manufacturing group
- We have over 20 factories in Africa and China producing a wide varieties of products
- We are looking for Corporate Development Officer - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Report to Treasurer
- Job summary : responsible for overseeing the strategic growth and performance of the conglomerate's subsidiaries and joint venture companies. Participate in identifying potential growth opportunities, conducting financial analysis, monitor financial performance and ensuring alignment with the conglomerate's overall strategic objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and assess the financial and operational performance of subsidiaries and joint venture companies. Prepare performance reports and present findings to senior management.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the growth and profitability of subsidiaries and joint ventures. Identify potential areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential acquisitions, mergers, and partnerships. Evaluate financial health, market position, and growth potential of target companies.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with subsidiary and joint venture management teams. Provide guidance and support to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and modeling. Use financial data to support strategic decision-making and investment evaluations.
- Integration Support: Assist in the integration of newly acquired companies or joint ventures. Develop integration plans and oversee the implementation process.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and identify potential growth areas.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and business partners. Present recommendations and strategic insights clearly and persuasively.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in corporate development, finance, or a related role.
- Proficiency in project management software and financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
