CR Construction Company Limited, (formerly known as China Resources Construction Co. Ltd. from 1999 onwards and T. S. Wong & Co., Ltd. before 1999), was established in 1967 carrying out construction business. CR construction has accumulated considerable experience in the local market and established a reputation of a reliable building contractor for quality and complex projects. 

In 1986, China Resources (Holdings) Co., Ltd. – a well established state owned leading conglomerate of Chinese Mainland Capital – through a subsidiary acquired CR Construction. Since
then, CR Construction has enjoyed a steady growth and has acquired more expertise and experience in quality building projects. 

Some of the major projects completed by CR Construction include Police Headquarter Phase 1 at Wan Chai, several Housing Department projects, Yan Chai Hospital Extension Phase IV, Villa Esplanada Phase 1 to 3 at Tsing Yi, Design & Build Contract for PSPS Development at Tsing King Road, Cyberport Residential Development Phase RIII & RIVa at Telegraph Bay, Hong Kong Science Park Phase 2 Area C, Area A2 and Building 20, Carcass Contract for Hotel Development at Oil Street, HKIVE Lee Wai Lee Campus at Tseung Kwan O, Multimedia Building of City University, Centralised General Research Biochemical Laboratory Complex for the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Renovation of China Resources Building, Revitalization

In January 2014, Zhejiang Construction Investment Group Corporation, Ltd. acquired CR Construction from China Resources and became its ultimate parent company.
