The final round of the 2014 BDO Best Intern Scholarship Contest was held on 25 April 2014.  The Contest is open to all interns who have completed the Spring Internship with the firm.   Contestants were  required to submit a written proposal to solve a real life issue/problem identified by themselves within the department. The award was granted to the intern who attained the highest total score based on a combination of factors: the quality of the written proposal, oral presentation skills and overall caliber based on work performance during the internship. Finally, Ms Fanny Man of City University of Hong Kong was awarded the Champion of the Contest. 

Through the Contest, interns gained valuable experience and were provided with a platform to express their views in front of top management who are open and willing to listen to the voice of staff. The opinions provided by the contestants have been seriously considered by the management and some of their recommendations will put implementation soon.
